PSCTas is a program of Lady Gowrie Tasmania and is funded by the Australian Government, through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) as part of the Inclusion and Professional Support Program (IPSP).
PSCTas supports high quality programs and inclusive practice through the development and management of professional support to eligible child care services, inclusion support facilitators, bicultural support workers and indigenous professional support officers.
Eligible child care services can contact PSCTas for initial support and advice. In the role as the Co-ordinator of professional support, PSCTas engages Professional Support Service Providers (PSSP’s) to deliver professional learning and support appropriate to the service’s identified need. Potential PSSP’s can register an expression of interest by contacting PSCTas (see details below).
PSCTas provides free call phone access to support the resource and advisory role, plus free membership to the Resource Library for eligible child care services. A dedicated website www.psctas.org.au provides information on the functions of the PSC as well as current information and fact sheets.
