Inclusion Support Services (ISA)

The Inclusion Support Agency is a program of Lady Gowrie Tasmania and is funded by the Australian Government, through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) as part of the Inclusion and Professional Support Program (IPSP).

The Inclusion Support Agency supports child care services to build their capacity to create an inclusive environment that supports all children’s well being and development, and promotes awareness of and responsiveness to, the identified priority groups into child care services.

The priority groups are:

  • Children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Children with a disability
  • Children with a refugee or humanitarian intervention background who have been subject to torture and trauma, either in their country of origin or during their refugee experience
  • Indigenous children
