Children's Programs: Lindisfane North In February 2000, the Lindisfarne North Long Day Care Centre was established on the Lindisfarne North Primary School site. The establishment of the Centre was initiated by the school community in response to the need for child care to be provided to compliment the education timetable. The Centre now provides care for children who not only attend the school but from the broader community. Programs The centre offers full-time and regular part time care for children 3 to 7 years of age for 51 weeks of the year. The centre is licensed by the Tasmanian Department of Education for 20 children and registered with the National Childcare Accreditation Council. Program Planning The staff meet regularly to plan programs that meet the high quality indicators of the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System (QIAS). Program Planning is informed by the Department of Education's Essential Learning Framework and focuses on the five learning areas identified in this document:

EFTPOS, Bpay and Credit Card facilities are available. Hours of Operation 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
