Children's Programs - Lady Gowrie Kindergarten

Lady Gowrie Tasmania is registered with the Tasmanian Department of Education as a non-government registered school. It is registered to provide a Kindergarten Program for children four years of age.

As a registered Kindergarten the curriculum provided meets the requirement of the Tasmanian Department of Education School Registration Board and at the same time addresses the requirements of the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System. One of the requirements for School Registration is that the early childhood teacher engaged for this program holds a current teacher registration.

The program operates from the Battery Point Child Centre site. Annual enrolments are invited from families accessing existing Lady Gowrie services as well as the broader community. An advantage for working families is the availability of care during non-kindergarten times.

Kindergarten:9.00am - 3.00pm Tuesday and Thursday (During school term only)
