Community Services: Professional Support Co-ordinator

This three year program is funded by the Australian Government, Department of Family, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs to provide professional development services statewide for Australian Government funded Children's Services in the areas identified by the National Priorities.

Part of the PSC function is to undertake a needs analysis to identify the needs of the sector which will inform the training program for the coming year. Once determined the PSC engatges Professional Support Facilitators (PSFs) to plan and deliver the training program. A calendar of training programs will be distibuted to eligable services.

Another function of the PSC is to provide free call phone access (Monday-Friday 9-5) to support the resource and advisory role as well as referral service to the PSFs.
