Lady Gowrie Tasmania commenced the operation of the South Hobart Pre-School / Occasional Education and Care Program in early 2007. Previously the program was operated by the Hobart City Council.
The program is centrally located in South Hobart at the Home Based Care and Education Scheme facility and is easily accessed with parking available. With a safe and secure park located next door, outdoor play is a feature of the care and education program.
Catering for children aged three to five years of age the Pre-School / Occasional Education and Care program provides an alternative to long day care for families who may require short term care for children. Facilitated by a qualified teacher and/or education and care professional, this popular small program is an ideal transitional program for children in the year prior to formal school.
Operational Details
Monday and Thursday 9.00am – 12.00noon (School Terms only)
The Centre is closed between Christmas and New Years, on gazetted public holidays and during school holidays.
Snacks
Families provide a morning snack for their children.
