Quality Outside School Hours Care Programs are offered by Lady Gowrie Tasmania at different venues in Hobart and Launceston for children five to twelve years of age. The Outside School Hours Care programs participate in the quality assurance system. This system involves intensive effort from educators in ensuring that the facilities and programs are of the highest quality. The Outside School Hours Care Programs work collaboratively with the respective school community to support the sharing of venue space as well as a consistent approach to relevant policies and procedures. These programs are recreational based and developed to ensure the needs, skills and interests of the children are met. The before and after school care programs operate during school terms and provide a range of creative and physical activity experiences as well as the opportunity for quiet activities and opportunities for children to undertake homework. The vacation care programs operate during school holidays and provide a range of experiences which include visits by performers and specialist facilitators as well as excursions into the broader community. All venues are accessed by children from the relevant school community but are also available to other children.

Morning and afternoon tea is provided with the cost included in the fee structure for After School and Vacation Care programs.
